amazing thailand

nov. 8

thailand is really cool. today i took the motorcycle in because the back tire had been popped. it's basically a bicycle tire. anyways, the guy had to take the entire back wheel off and put on a brand new intertube for me. total cost...$2. can't get service like that in the States.

i'm hungry right now though and wish i had a slice of pizza. i think this is the first time i have craved any american food.

Just wanted to say hey, Spumoni.

I watched the motorcycle diaries about "Che" Guevera and it kind of reminded me of you.

I also wanted to see if you heard about a temple found recently in Israel that they speculate might be the oldest temple ever found.
It apparently is a temple to Jesus Christ. I only saw a blurb on it.

Anywho, NWI still sucks. Have fun man. :-)

hey james. i haven't heard of the temple yet. actually, i haven't heard much news at all since i'd been here. that earthquake that happened in India about a month ago...i think i heard of it a week later when someone emailed and said "glad you weren't affected by that earthquake in India". that's all i know of that. it's tough when all the news is in Thai. Oh well, have fun in NWI anyhow.

We had a tornado in Henderson and Evansville. 24 people died. It wasn't so bad in Henderson (only horses at Ellis Park died here), but it was bad in Evansville/Newburgh. It destroyed a trailer park and several farms and homes. It was on the national news, but I'm sure you didn't see it. It happened early Sunday morning.

At our house--we slept right through it. Oops.
